All of you took each theme, used your dark imagination and unique creativity, pushed the envelope, and came up with some really fantastic art!!! Thank you for sticking it out with me through the times I was present and absent and still you came back for the challenges and made each week so special for me!! Week after week, I could not wait to see what you would create and every week you never failed to disappoint!! You made our first year great with your talent, your tenacity, and your awesome creativity!!Thank you for scaring me with spooky fun all year!!

PECULIAR CHILDREN

 Remember when Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children was popular? 

There was a whole set of Peculiar Children books. Miss Peregrine's Children had a large array of psychic, magical powers. They could transform themselves into other things, float in the air, read your mind, tell the future, move objects, and vanish. They were very special and very different from other children. And very spooky!!!

I thought this would be a very good theme for us to try!! Create your own version of your Peculiar Children for this challenge! What special psychic powers do your children have? Show us in your artwork! Have fun this week with your children!!

BLACK RABBIT

 

Black Rabbit is our theme for this week. 

We don't do pretty or cute or sweet. No, we don't! We do dark and spooky! So with Easter right around the corner, this holiday is no exception. Our dark rabbit art creations this week are mean, malicious and scary!  

Watch out for your Easter baskets filled with pretty eggs and delicious treats! These horrid rabbits are waiting to demolish your Easter Baskets and eat all of your chocolate treats. Especially the chocolate covered bunnies! They love a sweet, chocolate bunny. It is their favorite!

I have posted more images on a page for you to use this week in your artwork and some lighter versions of a Black Rabbit for those who want to create something more in tune with the Easter Theme!

A DICKEN'S GHOSTLY CHRISTMAS

 THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS HERE!!

 I have some fun but quirky Christmas Themes for the Month of December 

The first Theme for this Season is 

A DICKEN'S GHOSTLY CHALLENGE!! 

It is about Charles Dicken's beloved Christmas Story, 

"A CHRISTMAS CAROL"! 

As the story goes, there are 3 Ghosts sent s messengers to Mr. Scrooge! 

For our kickoff for the Christmas Dark Art Challenges for December, we are going to create art with those same 3 ghosts in mind!

You pick which ghost you would like to create to scare Mr. Scrooge so his miserly, selfish, cold heart will be filled with holiday love, good tidings, and cheer!!

SO WHICH GHOST WILL YOU PICK?

The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, or The Ghost of Christmas Future!

If you would like to skip the ghosts and go with a lighter theme, then you can create an art piece to personify that mean, miserly, hardhearted Mr. Scrooge! Or you can do both themes! It's your choice!
